Scanner not working properly?

Please follow these steps:

STEP 1:   Unplug the cables from behind the scanner.

STEP 2:   Restart the computer.

STEP 3:   After restarting, Login to the computer.

STEP 4:   Wait until you see your icons load.

STEP 5:   Plug the cables back into your scanner.

STEP 6:   Try to Scan!
